Texas TreeVentures is a three-level aerial adventure course in The Woodlands, Texas, featuring nearly 100 challenge elements. It’s owned by The Woodlands Township and operated by the Parks & Recreation Department. All staff members are trained to strict industry standards set by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT).

- Location: 6464 Creekside Forest Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77389, behind The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park.
- Parking: Free parking is available at The Rob Fleming Recreation Center, with additional spots at The Aquatic Center. Texas TreeVentures and The Woodlands Township are not liable for valuables left in vehicles.

Texas TreeVentures is generally open Friday through Sunday, with hours based on local school district calendars and sunset times. Because Google or Apple Maps may be inaccurate, the most reliable schedule is the live booking calendar on the official website.

- Ages 13+: $48 per person
- Ages 12 & under: $42 per person
Each reservation is for three (3) hours, which includes the Gear Up process and Ground School instruction.

- Group Rates: For groups of 12 or more, call 281-210-2048 or email info@texastreeventures.com to check eligibility and book in advance. Full payment for the group is required at time of purchase.
- Corporate/Team Building: Fill out the online form or contact the course directly to plan a corporate outing or special event!

- Age: Minimum 6 years old.
- Reach: Must have a minimum 70″ vertical reach (flat-footed, arm raised) to climb independently.
- Weight: 44 lbs minimum; 275 lbs maximum. Everyone is weighed before entry.
- Harness Fit: You must properly fit into a full-body harness and helmet.
- Physical/Medical Concerns: Not recommended for those with pregnancy, spinal/heart issues, or any condition that may be exacerbated by this activity. Consult your physician if unsure.
- Substance Policy: No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol is allowed on the course.

Even if you meet age, reach, and weight requirements, a proper harness and helmet fit is mandatory. If staff cannot achieve a safe fit (per manufacturer guidelines), you will not be allowed on the course. However, the harnesses we utilize fits most people. We recommend a low ponytail for people with long hair. Any top bun or thick top hairstyle may prevent the helmet from fitting.

- Children (Ages 6–12): Require one Supervisor (16+) to climb with up to two children.
- Supervisors for ages 6–12 must purchase a ticket if they are also climbing.
- If a child under 70″ vertical reach is on the course, the supervising adult must stay within one course element at all times.
- Teens (Ages 13–15): Need one Chaperone on site for every four teens.
- Children (Ages 6–12): Require one Supervisor (16+) to climb with up to two children.

Yes. All participants must sign a Liability Waiver before climbing. If the participant is under 18, their waiver must be signed by a legal parent or guardian. It’s best to complete waivers in advance (link provided in your reservation receipt).

No. Phones, keys, wallets, and other loose items are not permitted on the course. You’ll receive a gallon-sized bag for personal belongings, and staff are not liable for lost or stolen items.
Medical items are allowed as long as the items are stored appropriately and do not pose a risk to fall out of a pocket.

Most reservation slots are three (3) hours total, which includes your Participant Safety Orientation instruction (30ish minutes) and your climbing time on the course. Some reservations may be listed as 2 hour climbs, and the difference is noted on the reservation page and by the reduced price.

Arrive 20–30 minutes early to allow time for parking, checking in, restrooms, waivers, and storing belongings before your Participant Safety Orientation. Late arrivals risk losing course time.

Yes. Once you begin, you have up to two (2) or three (3) hours depending on your reservation to experience the course “challenge by choice” at your own pace. If you arrive late, that cuts into your overall time if we are able to fit you into the next orientation.

Reservations aren’t strictly required, but slots fill up quickly—we recommend booking at least 2–3 days in advance. You can make reservations online or by phone. The website may allow same-day bookings if space is available.

You must first select the General Admission (16+) ticket to meet the youth supervision requirement. After adding an eligible Supervisor, the system should allow you to add children 6–12.

No. Spectators may watch for free from designated observation areas. They’re also great for taking photos!

- 72+ hours before reservation: You can reschedule, receive a Rain Check/Gift Card, or get a full refund.
- 24+ hours before reservation: You can reschedule or receive a Rain Check.
- Within 24 hours: All reservations are considered final; no refunds unless Texas TreeVentures cancels for safety or operational reasons.

- Late Arrival: Staff will try to fit you into the next available Safety Orientation, but space isn’t guaranteed. Your climb time may be reduced.
- No-Show: If you arrive after your scheduled time (or not at all), your reservation is treated as a no-show. No refunds or credits will be issued regardless of notification, traffic, or weather events.

- Rain: The course usually stays open in light rain.
- Lightning/Severe Weather: If storms (thunder/lightning within 10 miles) are detected, the course closes immediately. It stays closed for 30 minutes after the last occurrence.
- High Winds: Sustained winds of 20+ mph will prompt course closure or evacuation.
- Cancellations: If severe weather suspends operation for one hour or more of your reservation time, a Rain Check credit may be issued for the full cost. No refunds are given unless Texas TreeVentures cancels in advance.

- Safety: Built by ACCT-qualified builders and inspected/recertified annually. Equipment is checked daily.
- Check-In: You’ll weigh in, confirm your 70″ reach, and store personal items.
- Gear Up & Ground School: A 30–45 minute safety orientation teaches you how to use the harness and continuous-belay system.
- Course Access: Staff reserves the right to deny entry to anyone for valid safety concerns (e.g., improper attire, intoxication, or failure to follow rules).
